• Promising Scientist Award

    Since 2024, Theia Markerless has sponsored this award. Open to post-baccalaureate students. The top three abstracts will be selected to present in a special session at the conference.

  • Oral Presentation Awards

    When submitting your abstract, you will be asked whether or not you’d like to be considered for an award. Awards are given to the top graduate and undergraduate presentation.

  • Poster Presentation Awards

    When submitting your abstract, you will be asked whether or not you’d like to be considered for an award. Each poster considered for an award is judged by a minimum of two judges.

    Student Travel Award

    This grant is available to students that may not have funds to attend SCASB. Check back for information to the 2026 meeting
